The Peggy Look Alike Contest was a big success and lots of fun. Those who participated, can't wait until next year. Here are some who dressed as Peggy. We had a three way tie for Amy, Brianna and Miranda.

Peggy of the Cove celebrates its birthday on the third Sunday in July and to celebrate this event a fireworks display was set off right after dusk to mark the occasion. Ryan did a fabulous job. Adam and Peter along with Wayne helped set up the display. Thanks to Image House, Scotia Bank and Sobey's who placed ads which paid for the fireworks. Help and Prizes from Acadia Maple, Bell & Grant Insurance, Boutilier Lawn & Garden, Candleriggs, Navnet Communications, Nimbus Publishing and Maritime Travel made an exciting time as smiles brightened the faces of the winners. A special thanks to Millennium Mowing & Property Care for making sure the field and paths were in great shape for walking.
A big thank you to those who attended. We are in planning next years event all ready. Activities and prizes will be for three age groups with a leader for each group.
